The architecture of the hotel is simply stunning, with
its thoughtful renovation of the old city hall. Each room showcases unique design elements while maintaining comfort. On the downside, my room's unusually large sink proved impractical. Overall, I had a delightful stay and appreciated the personal touch from the staff.

The hotel has a charming character with its vintage decor and is conveniently located near spots where we could check out the local history, like the lumber era train tracks. My teenagers loved exploring the intriguing design of our room.
My kids wished for more privacy in the bathroom area.

Check-in was smooth, with quick assistance when I needed to change rooms, and the extra blanket provided made my night more comfortable. The creative decor caught my eye, but some functional aspects, like the lack of nightstands and inadequate hanging space, detracted from the overall experience. The homestyle Japanese dishes at the restaurant were delightful and added a nice touch to the stay. I recommend this spot for its charm but suggest management enhance room functionality.

What a unique stay! The room was beautifully designed with repurposed materials, and the dinner at the Newsroom was top-notch, though I wish the bathroom had a door for more privacy. I’d definitely return!
